FROM ONE COFFEE ORIGIN TO ANOTHER KIND OF EXPERIENCE

Uganda has a remarkable coffee story.

It produces both Arabica and Robusta, with Arabica grown in several highland regions and Robusta deeply rooted in the country’s coffee heritage.

But for many coffee drinkers, the story ends with the word “Uganda” on a label.

We wanted to go further.

We wanted people to understand the coffee.

To know where it comes from.

And most importantly—to taste it.

We Curate Only the Best Coffee!

We source coffee from Uganda and bring it to South Africa as green coffee. Here, we carefully develop roast profiles designed around the character of each coffee. The origin gives the coffee its character. The roast helps reveal it.

WHY UGANDA?

Because Uganda deserves to be discovered for more than one type of coffee. Its Arabica can offer elegance, sweetness, acidity and complexity. Its Robusta can bring body, intensity and character. And the country's coffee-growing regions offer very different expressions of coffee. UCDA, for example, identifies distinct profiles from areas including Mt Elgon, Rwenzori, Kisoro and Nyakishenyi. We want to explore that diversity one coffee at a time.

QUALITY MATTERS. We want to choose coffees that are worth putting our name on.

ROASTING MATTERS. A good coffee deserves a roast that works with it.

TASTE MATTERS MOST. Ultimately, coffee has to taste good.
